Davide Sozio (b. 1994, Italy)

‍ ‍ART RESEARCH Large-scale, site-specific painting combined with participatory practices reinforce local communities and promote resilient futures. Material exploration and collective making are acts of community regeneration, articulating visual responses to ecological and social challenges. Tempera pigments are handcrafted from locally gathered soils and minerals, while reclaimed fabrics are chosen in dialogue with each site, embedding place in the work’s colours. Co-design and participatory making engage diverse communities across creation, using painting to foster connection, visibility and social inclusion.
