Arte Rom Project / 2023

The Arte Rom project consisted of four creative workshops designed for three young members of the local Roma community. Developed in collaboration with Tangram Social Cooperative and social educator Elia Iotti, who focuses on youth engagement within the community, the workshops spanned three weeks and centered on the pictorial and textile customization and personalization of t-shirts. In the first session, participants chose an animal, which they sketched on paper before transferring the design onto fabric. In the second and third sessions, they explored recreating famous brand logos, experimenting with color to apply their designs onto the t-shirts. The final session prepared the participants for a guided visit to the 18th Venice Architecture Biennale.
